From the Commander:
At this time I don't have a letter for
you, due to the recent break-in of our
Post. I have to concentrate on the
repairs to make the Post secure. There
is a possibility that there could be a
night watchman on duty at any givin
time. ait is sad to know that someone
would have the nerve to break into our
VFW.

PRESIDENT LADIES AUX.
First of all I want to again thank
Commander Jim for all he has done for
the Post and in the kitchen. If you did
not go to the Valentine's Dinner, you
missed a very nice one...And to his
wonderful wife, Pat, she is always at his
side, working with him.
Ok ladies, I want to say that last
month was a busy one for some of us.
We did 2 dinners and Big Burgers. We
had a fun time in the kitchen, but now
we really need YOU to step-up and help
the Post as Jim will no longer be doing
any dinners. Jim and Pat both have
some health problems and just need to
slow down a little. So we all need to
take up the slack. I think that both Aux's
and the Post members need to HELP. If
you want to see the Post become a big
and better place then we have to help.
This next month we need people to
come and do dinners as we have a
great kitchen to work in. It only takes a
few hours of your time and only once a
month. March 17th the Ladies Aux. will
be doing the St. Patrick's dinner,
corned beef and cabbage. We also
have big burgers as we do them the 3rd
Saturday of the month. Look for more to
come. If you want to know what is
happening come to the Post and the
Meetings and check it out. The Ladies
Aux. has now got the wall, to the left of
the stage. Soon it will be Parade time
and we can always use your help with it.
The group that is working on it has
worked their tails off again. So come
and support the Post and your Aux. by
giving of yourselves that should have
been the reason that you joined the
VFW. Ladies the next meeting is March
4th at 5pm

Quartermaster Repost
Hello to all. Things are progressing
at the Post. Remember the Loyalty Day
Parade is not far away, so tell all your
family and friends. The committee
needs volunteers to help on the day of
the parade. Also remember the Post can
always use donations. We need people
who are willing to give a day and help
or put on a dinner here at the Post.
There are activities (see calender), so
come on out and join us. Till next time,
keep your powder dry.

Lifetime members it is $12.50 yearly for
your Cancer Ins.

MEMBERSHIP
Some members keep their
organization strong. While others
joke and just belong
Some dig right in, some serve with
pride, some go along just for the
ride.
Some volunteer to do their share,
while some sit back and just don't
care.
On meeting days some always
show, but there are those who
NEVER go.
Some always pay their dues ahead,
some get behind for months,
instead.
Some due their best, some build,
some make, some never give, but
always take.
Some lag be hind, some let things
go, some never help their
organization grow.
Some drag, some pull, some don't,
some do. Which of these are you?
